Are there humanoid monsters that could possibly pass off as humans or "civilised" humanoids like dwarves etc.?

Gender equality is the same as our world I suppose, for the most part people are pretty indifferent towards and don't think less or more. However there are tribes around, specifically one that will appear in the RP which is a bandit tribe of misogynistic men who treat women like slaves. 

And yes there are humanoid monsters due to cross breeding and odd magical experiments. So you could have a normal human looking man who actually had dwarven blood in him.

2011-05-19 [Rice]: Our world now. Firstearth is a different place however civilizations in the social manner is the same as ours. Equality for all but there are off course racist and prejudice groups.

There is every race possibly, humans aren't the dominant races at all and the diversity has meant that all races are pretty wide spread. And yes the nations have similar climates as their real world examples but of course there can be fluctuating differences. As Skyheart controls much of the weather, since it is breaking the weather is beginning to change.

2011-05-20 [Rice]: I think most people know the general rules and have common decency. So you know 'Don't go nuts and start killing everyone' yadda yadda 'No one loves a god-player.'

I've made this RP so that people have the ability to provide plot ideas and keep things moving forward, however sometimes I will need to take control to get characters to a certain place. I dislike it when there is a central character in an RP >_> so..for this i'm trying to make everyones character just as important and with as much power.

That being said I am still the GM and if things get out of hand i'll have a polite word, sometimes people can start trying to take control a bit too much and battle over plot ideas. Once we get everyone together the story will unfold.

2011-05-20 [Veltzeh]: Well, people do have different conceptions of what's general and decent. I usually err on the side of caution, and it got me extremely bored at one MUD I tried because I didn't know of their conventions. X)

Everyone getting together does imply that the characters should get along somehow, unless it's going to happen by trial and error where the characters keep getting killed by the others until there's a good enough group. Is that the point, or should characters only die if its player so wishes?

That reminded me: What is the driving point behind the initial plot hook, for the characters? Or are they going to be forcibly dragged into it? Is the purpose that all characters are on the same side (and what is that side?) or is the purpose to make two or more sides? Are my questions getting too tiresome? (I hope not, heh.)

2011-05-20 [Rice]: Every decent story line I have ever seen involves a group of people with conflicting personalities, so no they don't have to get along. However they will be unified by a small cause and develop, then when the time comes we'll see how it pans out.
Characters only die if their creator wishes them too.

Once the character is up I discuss how they shall meet the current group, some of the characters already know each other and are travelling together. The meaning behind 'A new bounty has been placed upon the head of a single person, if you find that person, surely Skyheart will be in your hands' is that it shows you there is a bounty to be collected. Giving people a window to pick, if your character was up for the hunt then they would accept the bounty and no doubt meet the other bounty seekers along the way. Or, they get dragged into it by some odd situation. Its up to the creator to discuss it with me.

I'm not releasing any other plot details at the moment though.
